International Mock-Kos Day **BUMP** until Friday evening

Chris Muir has done it again, as you'll see from his cartoon for today:

Dbyd10122005

As you may - or may not - remember, back in August (the 22nd, to be exact) Kos said (oh, and that's a link to lgf's article, which has the direct link - I don't want to give that creep any linky-luv whatsoever)

Two more weeks, folks, before we take them on, head on.

No calls for a truce will be brooked. The DLC has used those pauses in the past to bide their time between offensives. Appeals to party unity will fall on deaf ears (it's summer of a non-election year, the perfect time to sort out internal disagreements).

We need to make the DLC radioactive. And we will. With everyone's help, we really can. Stay tuned.

... and we never heard from him about it again.

lgf did a lovely countdown (see here, here, here, here - oh, just look at the August '05 archives), but then - unfortunately - Katrina hit, and more important things took precedence.

Anyway, I can't recall any nuclear explosions at the DLC, can you?

(Offered at Stop the ACLU's Open Trackback Hump Day - which I thought was ironically appropriate)

UPDATE - Here's a link at Cadillac Tight (?!) which has the link to Kos's backpedal after Katrina:

Some people are asking about the DLC thing. Well, there are actually more important things right now than that. Katrina has center stage, and will for a while.

Heh.

Oh! Wizbang also had a lovely little snark - Kos vs the DNC -- D-day + 9

(Also offered at Cao's Wednesday Trackback Party)

(And basil-the-sweet-gracious-and-silly has linked me for his Supper buffet! Luv ya, bas!)

UPDATE-YET-AGAIN   My fellow Lady of the Cotillion, Darleen (of Darleen's Place) (typo fixed - thanks for telling me, DarlEEn, LOL) graciously gave me permission to use this image of the... er, lovely Kos:

Kos_of_chickenranchOK.

That's SCARY!

12Oct05, 2151 EDT - and I'm also blessed by Emperor Misha I with a Rotti-lanche! Thank you, thank you, I want to thank the Academy... Oh, um... Thanks, Misha!

2158 EDT -- AND (doubly blessed) a MVRWC-lanche, too! Thank you, Beth!

2237 EDT -- and offered at the Mudville Gazette, as well as Outside the Beltway - except that I can't get to OTB. What's going on?!)
