Reconciliation in the Blogosphere

Jay at Stop the ACLU and Glenn Reynolds, the Instapundit, had a disagreement earlier this year. I mostly ignored it, since it was outside my sphere of major interest, but it is immensely gratifying that the two got together and found common ground: Stop The ACLU Interviews Glenn Reynolds (Instapundit).

This is a far better way to handle disputes than a bloody blog-war, or tossing snide comments back and forth. I also think the whole de-linking kerfuffle was a bit over done, but mainly because it's not my style. (And, of course, the whole world ought to do what I think is right, LOL!)

I'm very glad that Jay and Glenn have mended their fences and come to a better understanding of each other. This should be an example of civil disagreement and restoration for blogs which bicker uselessly.

Good for you both, Jay and Glenn!

(UPDATE - However, I must echo Michelle Malkin's oops, Bryan Preston's [why does no one cc: me these things?] concern about Glenn's "non-denial denial..." )

{grin}
