Thanks to Lord Spatula, posting over at Emperor Misha's place, I have a link to this very important post over at SlagleRock's blog. This is what he's doing:
So here is what we need to do. Bloggers, I urge each and every one of you to write your own letter to the troops overseas. Make it a general open letter to any Soldier, Sailor, Airman or Marine. Keep in mind that the people reading these letters will be both male and female of all ages, ethnic origins and religions. Once your letter is posted, please trackback to this post so that I may find and print your letter. Please direct your readers to this effort as well. Non-bloggers, please leave your open letter of support in the comment section of this post. While it is possible for you to email me your letters, I'd like to see them in the comments so that troops overseas can access and read them online. [emphasis mine]
So go over there right now and show the troops how much they are honored and valued. Never forget, they are on the front lines every day and it's because of their sacrifices that we have the blessings of liberty.
And, now, I'm off to put in my humble contribution to the morale of the best and bravest people on earth.
UPDATE: And here is my letter to the best and the bravest.
Thank you very much for posting this! The effort needs all the help it can get.
Thanks again

It is my honor and privelege to support our men and women.
My husband is retiring from the Navy in February. He flew an EP-3 in Gulf War 1, and I remember how tense and worried I was (heck, that thing's best defense is last week's bologona sandwich out the back hatch!).
My father is a veteran of WW2 - he was on Wake when the Japanese attacked, and stood at the foot of Ens. Gay's bed while the Ensign reported to Dad's C.O.
I am honored to be a descendant of our Revolutionary War heros.
So, in *this* family, we and our child love and honor our troops. BTW, did you know that at the Hale Koa's luau (AFRC in Honolulu), they *always* end by honoring each-and-every uniformed service? *And* each-and-every veteran of each war? God bless 'em!
Thanks for your blog - it really helps me remember what an awesome job our men and women are doing!
Blessings!
