Well, I'm trying to set up the new TypePad text ads, so you'll see some small oddities running around. I'm hoping that I can get my compu-cat logo back, but meanwhile I'm still poking around...
And, no, I'm not "properly" on-line again yet: a friend has very graciously allowed me to monopolize her computer and her connection so that I can catch up on my long-neglected 'net fix. Thanks, Allison!
Messing, part 2.0 - OK, that was easy, but the text ads look really wonky. I'm going to go into the template (I know, I'm daring) and see if I can clean it up...
Messing, 2.1 - Huh. Still insists on being wierd, but at least it's where I want it to be. Well, I'll let things percolate though the weekend (Kanoodle will take that long, at least, to activate my account), and see what happens.
Then again, TypePad - those wonderful people - is ("are"?) rolling out lots of yummy upgrades tomorrow night (comment and trackback management, and new "standard" designs... mmmmm!), so I may be playing around with them a lot, too.
What do you think? I like my compu-cat, but I'm feeling very girly (!!!!) and might want to try on some new "clothes" for a bit. Plus, I'd love to display red-white-and-blue for the Fourth of July!
I really like most of the look. Links in posts are easier to see. I do have a lil difficulty getting the right angle for my trifocals to resolve the small red pint on blue in the sidebars, but that's just an old guy's eyes for ya.
:-)
A coupla twirls of the scroll wheel while holding the CTRL key down and 130% looks fine for sidebars.
heh
Seriously: I like the red-white-blue. The RED post titles are great!
