O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, O come ye, to Bethlehem.
Come and behold Him, born the King of angels;Refrain:
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord.True God of true God, Light from Light Eternal,
Lo, He shuns not the Virgin’s womb;
Son of the Father, begotten, not created;Sing, choirs of angels, sing in exultation;
O sing, all ye citizens of heaven above!
Glory to God, all glory in the highest;Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, born this happy morning;
Jesus, to Thee be glory given;
Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing.
Son of God, Son of man, very God of very God... God enfleshed for our salvation!
O, can't you see what He has done? He has come to us... He has given life to us... He has made the glory of God live in a human body! Ah, the love, the humility... Incomprehensible, and yet so simple. He was born in human flesh to give us life - yet we must accept His life, and cling to it with profound gratitude and joy!Father... O Father and Son, how can we express our love and gratitude for Your love and sacrifice! Let Your Son be born in us yet again this year. Let us live in Christ's humility and as faithful to Your glory and love!
Have you considered submitting an entry to the Carnival of Christmas?

Christmas
I have to tell ya, you're doing more for my "Christmas spirit" than any other single influence this year!
Thanks.

I was singing this one in the car today, along with my Christmas-choir CD.
I love that second verse, often omitted in today's hymnals.
My Latin students learn the Latin words every year. So beautiful in the orignal Latin.
