... or, "How many seams can I force into place?" (hence the "double fudge" reference)
So, I've finally gotten this quilt top finished. I'm not going to add a border to it: I think it looks just fine like it is. I will use an antique red for the binding, and I have a nice flannel in my stash that I think I'll use for the back - assuming I have enough!
This top is, oh, I dunno... Seventy-five inches square? Certainly enough for a Queen topper, anyway!
(Pictures below the fold....)
(UPDATE for my blog-siblings....) This is the quilt I'm working on now. It's a lap-quilt (Hmmm, but I *could* make it bigger--- easy!) which measures about 49"x60", finished. It's a pattern by Mary Etherington, of Creative Threads, from 2002 calld "Picnic." I'd love a link to a place that sells the pattern (*hint, hint*) but Google wasn't terrribly helpful.
You have NO idea how glad I am this isn't the recipe it sounded as though it was going to be!
:-)
Lovely!

Thank you, David! I'm glad you like it... And, for me, real fudge is simply FUDGE!!!! No nuts, no chips, no marshmellow... just fudge!!!
So... I would never inflict a recipe like that on you.
Really!

Yeh, but the problem is... it sounds strangely appealing. Chocolate and blueberries... hmmmm... Darn it! Now I'm thinking of ways to make it work!
heh

Kat, Daughter Jn and I both really like the quilt top. I am seriously thinking about the first BOM you sent me. Can't get it outta my mind yet so I might have to find a way to make it happen. I will keep you posted. I also really like this new quilt you are doing. I love stars by the way- in case you missed that somewhere along the way. I had a couple quilts picked out of mags to do this year for Idaho that involve stars. I am gonna have to get busy working on them.
