I've been getting ready to go down to Florida to visit my parents for a week. One of the things I've been working on practically full time is quilting: I had several quilts I needed to get to a ceratin stage, so I could bring them to L with me.
Seth's quilt was already off the machine and had binding (part 1) attatched, but Raven's quilt still needed the binding (part 1), and GM's quilt top had to be finished AND quilted AND binding (part 1).
*whew* I did it, and they're all ready to go.
Well, except for the labels... and Seth's quilt is supposed to be delivered FRIDAY!!! Aaaaaaiiiiiiigggghhh!
At any rate, look below the fold to see how they look -
Oh, and the lovely model? That's the Darling Munchkin, of course! She takes her job very seriously. As the Official Snuggle Tester™, she must apply the most stringent quality control over each quilt before it's permitted to leave the CatHouse.
Now she's testing out Auntie Raven's quilt to make sure it's soft and drapes around her body in a comfortable fashion.
See what an important job this is? I mean, really - if a quilt isn't properly snuggly and comfy, it can't really be called a quilt, now, can it?
Uncle GM's quilt, since it's the largest of the three, needs some very dedicated testing.
Somehow, I think it's passed with flying colors!
Please tell "Darlin' Munchkin" that because she tested the Uncle GM's Quilt, it will be more treasured and special because of that.
It is beautiful....... awesome, just awesome.
