A new blog-friend of mine, K T Cat of the Scratching Post, has a wonderful tribute up for our guys and gals in the military. This time, he's focussing on our valiant Navy.

Did you know that our Navy doesn't simply go to war with ships, planes and missles? They also go to war against hurt and pain and devestation. Our Navy was the first responder to the terrible destruction of the tidal wave in December, 2004. Our men and women all over the world are the first to hold out a helping hand, because that's the kind of people they are.

Like the United States herself, our military forces are "No better friend, no worse enemy."

God bless our men and women warriors who hold out their hands in peace, even in the midst of war!
