The video has been a big subject in the blogosphere the past day or two.
Jessie apparently has a 30-minute video interview in which he claims to be an Army Special Forces/Ranger and committed or witnessed all sorts of nasty things American soldiers did in Iraq. I'm not gonna watch the video, because that's 30 minutes of my life I could never get back, and I have more important things to do.
However, go over to Hot Air for these two posts, which do an excellent job outlining the situation and rounding up links debunking this little... cretin. I certainly hope that he's brought up on charges of some sort, because this sort of slander is absolutely inexcusable.
I've not seen the video -- but I'm not sure he's actually broken any laws. If I claim to have seen every red car drive past your house speeding, have I committed a crime?
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see these lying liars get punished, but I'm not sure that he's actually done something illegal.
Now if he were in North Carolina and claimed that he was a Forest Ranger, now THAT IS against the law (no, I don't get it, either).

Can't we arrest and try him simply for being too stupid to be running around loose, Ogre? Please? Pretty please?

If being stupid were a crime, the jails would really be overflowing... :)
