Fathers' Day!

Today is, of course, Fathers' Day - and I am blessed to have a wonderful Daddy, as well as being married to a guy who is a wonderful Daddy.

They are both good, honorable men, gentle of voice and strong in their convictions. They both treat their children and wives with deep love and affection. They are both family men, enjoying the joys and challenges of Fatherhood. They both laugh and enjoy life immensely, love to tease their wives and kids, and hold their Moms in high esteem.

I must be the luckiest woman in the world to have such great Dads in my life. I am proud to say that the Beloved Husband is very much like my Dad, and I hope and pray that the Darling Munchkin will be able to say the same thing one day.

Fathers, love your wives and love your daughters (well, certainly your sons, too, but I'm speaking from the distaff side at the moment); you can give them no better gift. The woman who has a loving and dependable Dad is, indeed, richly blessed!
