... and is basically ignored.
Gee what a surprise! Oh, and check out BaBa WaWa's expression when Rosie opens her dhimmi-loving mouth *snicker* "Oh, geeze, Rosie, I know you bring ratings, but can't you just SHUT YOUR FACE for once?!"
(HT to Blue Star Chronicles)
I'm biased towards Dennis Miller, and I admire his attitude of, "if Hillary gets in, I'm behind her," but, my goodness! Could Rosie miss his point any more?? I'm pretty sure the point is that you can dissent (and if Rosie knew anything about Miller, she'd know that he mos def for sure dissents with everything!) but there's a point where you also have to be rational.
BTW, I'm also commenting to say that the double-click on a word for a definition thing is really cool. I didn't know what "dhimmi" meant. Because, you know, I'm a liberal. ;)

Oh, I *LOVE* that plugin that TypePad set up! It's much better than the Snap Preview, which I think is terribly irritating (but you can turn it off, thank goodness!).
And, Genevieve, you may be a "liberal," but I think you're one in the more classic sense: you're rational and thoughtful and gracious... and have a tremendous sense of humor! Even when we disagree, I learn so much and don't feel like you're trying to club me into submission. We can agree to disagree and still be friends.
I like those qualities, and admire them greatly!
[sending hugs!]
