I love my iPod - I always find stuff I'd forgotten about (hey, 20 gigs can hold a lot of songs!), and when I can find the music video on YouTube, it's wonderful...
"Take On Me" by ah-ha
"Cry" by Godley & Cream
"Here Comes the Rain Again" by the Eurythmics
"Video Killed the Radio Star" by the Buggles
"Whip It" by Devo
"Jump" by Van Halen (with David Lee Roth, thankyouverymuch!)
Speaking of David Lee Roth, how about "California Girls"?
George Michael had a great voice. *sigh* It's too bad he's fallen so far; I miss him. "Father Figure"
Oh, and his early days with Wham! "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go"
"Ant Music," anyone? Adam and the Ants...
Do you remember Wang Chung? "Everybody have Fun Tonight!"
Which reminds me of "Sledgehammer" by Peter Gabriel
"Rio" by Duran Duran
Oh, and Rick Astley "Together Forever"!
And "Venus" covered by Bananarama
"Simply Irresistible" by Robert Palmer
Gadzooks, I've gotta stop this!!! All right one last one for the night... "Oh, Sherrie" by Steve Perry
I think I need to do this more often: I've gotten warm fuzzies from all this music from my college and high school days...
Careful there darlin, you're starting to really date yourself, and hubby wouldn't want you dating someone other than him, would he?
Besides, are you saying that there were music videos before youtube and iTunes? You'd think that a channel like MTV would play them, but they're too busy with Carson Daly and other old farts who still want to pretend to be kids.....

Heh! Well, Smokey, he doesn't mind so much if I'm only dating myself LOLOL
Yes, I remember when MTV had VJs and was lots of fun. The Monkees marathons were GREAT! Then VH1 sort of took the fun over, and eventually went by the wayside for me, too.
Hm. There's the VH1 classics station... maybe I ought to check that out!
