FOXNews.com - Explosion Hits Military Recruiting Station.
An explosive device damaged a military recruiting station at approximately 3:45 a.m. in Times Square early Thursday, and police blocked off the area to investigate.
The explosive device caused minor damage, and no one was injured, police said. The explosion shattered a glass entryway.
Thank God it went off at a time when it was unlikely to hurt anyone - but it's going to be very interesting to find out who did this...
UPDATE: The Confederate Yankee has new information and analysis:
From the choice of target, lack of shrapnel, and low amount of explosives used, I think it only logical to conclude that the blast was political in nature, a violent though purposefully less-lethal bomb, if you can ever call an improvised explosive device "less lethal." For these reasons, I doubt it was the act of Islamic extremists.
This was an act of domestic terrorism.
I do not, however, feel comfortable blaming any specific anti-war group for this act, or even pinning this as an anti-war act at this point in time.
NYC only had half as many bomb attacks as Bagdad. Does that sound good for Bagdad or bad for NYC?

The violent Lefties only distract from the real danger: leftist statists who seek the downfall of the U.S. (no matter how calmly and sweetly and reasonably they deny it) via less violent, more apparently "peaceful" means. By faking reasonableness and peacefulness, they mask their dangerous insanity (insanity? Sure: if honest and sincere in their profession of "reality-based fantasies" of statist utopian aims, they are still basing their arguments on unreality; if disingenuously arguing for "peace" to attain their statist utopian pretexts for destroying our nation, they're still crazy.).
Or, to put it another way, which is more dangerous: the crazy with a gun or the crazy who seeks to gain control over ALL the guns?
