Nope. Now that your candidate has won, now that eight years of slander, histrionics, DRAHma, baseless attacks, deranged libel and temper tantrums by liberal nutcases like you are almost over, NOW you want to make up and play nice?
[Mom, don't look]
UPDATE 2.0 - Out of deference to my mom and her friends, I've put the rest of this post below the fold. Mom, I TOLD YOU NOT TO LOOK!
Secondly, I want to clarify something: I have some friends who are Democrats, who are good people, sensible, and who can carry on a discussion without either of us wanting to harm the other. I am obviously NOT talking about them. [/update]
You are so full of it that your eyes are leaking brown excrement down your cheeks!
Ann Coulter had an excellent article at Human Events on Wednesday, and the punchline is this:
In the spirit of reaching across the aisle, we owe it to the Democrats to show their president the exact same kind of respect and loyalty that they have shown our recent Republican president. [emph. mine]
Now, of course, *I'm* not going to stoop that low; the vile, disgusting, irrational and stupid assaults you launched against a man who stood firm and did his best for the country (and with whom I disagree on many levels) is not my style. But I daresay that I'm going to end up skating really bloody close to that line!
Which party was worried about riots if they won? Republicans - because we know that you lot are petulant, undisciplined children who will kick and scream and make idiots and nuisances of yourselves until you get your way. Frequently you enjoy intimidation, lies, supression of free speech, destruction of private property and prying into people's private lives in complete hypocrisy.
Which party was NOT worried by any threats of violence and unlawful behavior? Democrats - because YOU know that Republicans respect the law, respect free speech, respect our government (even when we don't agree with what it's doing), respect courtesy, respect privacy, and respect personal property.
So, until you've PROVEN that you've grown up and are ready to act like mature, rational adults, SHOVE OFF and ditch the touchy-feely I-looove-youuuu crap!
And as for you "48ers," quit bending over and spreading your cheeks and hold these spoiled brats accountable for their actions!
(Kittipurrs to the Emperor for pointing to this little piece of asshattery)
[I told you, Mom. You shouldn't have read this - but I'm "shooting wolves," here.]
UPDATE: John Hawkins has his say:
Just so everybody knows where I stand, let me be clear: I'm not interested in allowing that moronic, corrupt, anti-white, lying, socialist Obama to methodically destroy everything that's decent and good in the country in the name of bipartisanship, unity, or "giving him a chance."
What I am interested in doing is engineering gridlock, thwarting his agenda at every turn, smashing the Democrats in 2010, and then beating Obama in 2012.
Since I love my country and believe unchecked liberalism is more capable of destroying it than any foreign invader, my conscience demands that I do nothing less.
And so does Ace:
Sorry, folks. No frakkin' sale. We remember "Jesusland." And stuff like this. And if you have a few hours, scroll through Malkin's "Bush Derangement Syndrome"archive. We remember everything - being called racist warmongers, Christianist nutbags, racists, and all the rest of the vitriol you folks threw at us in your "AAAHHH CHIMPY MCBUSHITLER HALLIBURTON IS THE EVILEST" stage of political development.
You spent the last eight years engaged in a disgusting orgy of divisive political hatred and now you want to play nice and pretend we're all united now? I for one am not going to treat President Obama the way you treated President Bush. That doesn't mean, though, I'm going to just forgive and forget the fact that you've polluted the political landscape with your bile and patchouli-stanking spittle.
Hear, hear!

Right On!
Heh.
Obviously a little joke there, folks - Mom would NOT actually have said that. ;-)
Now I've got to track down the friend who left this comment so I can tease the heck out of him or her, LOL!

Chris Matthews stated that it is his job to see to it that BHO succeeds. The Dems I know saw that statement as alarming. Pity that these same Dems didn't see the warning signs about Obama himself!

Excellent! Absolutely excellent.
Kat, I have just found another favorite blog.

Good one, Kat. Upcoming in my "The ROad Ahead" series of posts is one on holding libtards' feet to the fire of their own making. I must remember to "steal" (OK, quote with attribution ;-)) a couple of turns of phrase from this post for inclusion in that one.
