Well, from what I hear, they weren't much to write home about - except for the Budweiser ads. Now, I don't drink Bud, but they have had a consistent style of sweetness, humor, and respect in their ads which I really appreciate.
NOBODY can top this one:
... or this one:
And this year's is just sweet:
Thank you to Anheuser-Busch for giving us fun, respectful, and CLEAN ads which make us smile, and which are wonderful examples of what advertising CAN be, but so rarely is.
I think I need to start drinking their beer...
I like the ads. I too love horses. But this,
"I think I need to start drinking their beer..."
is ridiculous. I think they make their beer by filtering water through their horses. (Yes, it's pretty bad beer, IMO.)
Enjoy the commercials, but if you're going to drink a commercial beer, drink Sam Adams or something from a decent micro-brewery or some such. :-)

LOL, well, when at a restaurant, I do chhose "the good stuff" like Sam
Adams or Bass. At home, of course, I drink the REALLY good stuff:
homebrew ;-)
But I think I can hoist a Bud or two in public occasionally, just to
show my support of a company that loves America *grinz*

Well, if you're willing to stand the pain to show some support for that aspect of the company, then my hat's off to you. I'm still at
#1 homebrew (heck, even my last batch of molasses beer beats out Bud, and I considered it a failure
#2 almost anything else but manufactured Mass Beer (including beers from Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada, Boulevard Brewing and others--even including one major brew, Grolsch (though only if I check the dates and even then only in the swingtops... cos buying Grolsch swingtops with the beer in 'em is cheaper than buying swingtops empty for bottling. *heh*)

I can't stand to drink their brew anymore, but I've always loved them if for these commercials alone. :)
