Open to me the gates of righteousness,
that I may enter through them
and give thanks to the LORD.
This is the gate of the LORD;
the righteous shall enter through it.
I thank you that you have answered me
and have become my salvation.
The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone.
This is the LORD’s doing;
it is marvelous in our eyes.
This is the day that the LORD has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:19-24, ESV)
Yesterday we got a lot of (much needed) rain, and this morning the air is crisp and clear like fine crystal. The rising sun coaxed mist from the damp ground and gilded the trees with a soft glory. Birds are singing, a light breeze stirs the air, and God is on His throne!
Our Father is quite an artist, I spied one of His canvases this morning, a spider web decorated with gleaming water droplets backlighted by the early morning sun. I attempted to photograph it, to no avail.
Nice choice of verse.

Oh, that must have been beautiful indeed, AWM! I often look to creation and am stunned by the glory our Father reveals in it. How much MORE glorious must HE be, to bless us with such splendid views?

Yes yes yes!! Nothing like looking out on all the incredible greenery and all the gorgeous flowers right outside my kitchen window! Praise the Lord in all His majesty!

A little off topic, but I just got a quilt from you in the mail. I have a feeling that one of my brothers, the Kenney Boys, ordered this from you but I'm not sure. It is beautiful. Little Charles Elias Kenney isn't due for 1.5 months, but I just know he will like this. You do great work.
