May God have mercy...
Lord God Almighty, I pray Your protection on this priest and all the men and women in peaceful protest against the presence of pro-abortion - pro-infanticide! - President Obama. I pray that Your hand guides them and helps them act in accordance with Your will, and that their witness for Christ brings shame to Your enemies and the forces of death. Father, You brought this country into being and have blessed it beyond measure with protection, resources, strength, prosperity, and freedom - and we have thrown them all in Your face and made gods of ourselves.
Father, have mercy! Lay Your hand upon us, send Your Spirit to bring us life, bless us with a revival and turn our hearts toward You, lest we are brought to nothing for our grave sins and vanish from the earth. Renew this land, O Lord, give us all hearts of flesh and engrave Your commandments upon them. Convict us of our sin and bring us to our knees, so You may forgive our sin and so we may lift up Your name and be a holy nation to Your glory.
Lord... Have mercy!
Okay so I just have one thing to say. Before I expound, however, I would like to make it clear that I am a believer in the one living GOD, Jesus Christ, and am washed in his blood. Also, I am against abortions of all kinds.
BUT, the wording in this article agitates me very, very, VERY much. Perhaps the most frustrating thing about the "abortion issue" is that the victims of abortions are completely defenseless.
However, the use of the word "innocent" is absolutely anti-theological. The Bible CLEARLY states that there is no innocent life besides that of Christ Jesus. To suggest that a human, even a human child, could be INNOCENT is absolute herecy. I could find infinite Bible accounts that testify against innocent life of all kind.
Abortion IS murder, don't get me wrong, but the ignorance of these Christians is absolutely dispicable. I don't consider myself to be a "Christian" because there is no such thing. I have a relationship with the one true living Lord.
And that relationship, I believe, forbids a "religion."
May Christ be with you all.

If you are saying that the theological term "innocent," as applied to the unborn, in the sense of "without a sin nature," then you are correct. We are all conceived in sin, and we are all sinners by nature, from the first day of existence.
However, if you mean that the theological term "innocent" in the sense of "actually having broken the law," then you would be incorrect. There are degrees of punishment in Hell, and there are degrees of reward in Heaven... Romans 2:6-8 -
Since there are these degrees, and since God is a righteous judge and will not condemn anyone when they had no way to know or act on His commands. Does a baby understand that coveting something is wrong? No. They DO covet - it is in the sin nature of babies (of us all) - but they don't understand that it is wrong, much less understand why.
So, while the unborn are SPIRITUALLY, by nature, guilty; they are, LEGALLY innocent.
Your position would condemn all aborted babies, all miscarriages, all deceased infants, all severely retarded, all mentally ill and incompetent to Hell. God is holy, righteous, and perfect, ABSOLUTELY. Nevertheless, He is also fair.
As for your definition of "Christian," I'd be interested to hear it. My definition is "a disciple/follower of Christ."

OK, she had me nodding until the very end...now I'm scratching my head.
You believe you were washed clean in the saving blood of Jesus...you believe you follow His commissions and commands...but you DON'T call yourself a Christian?! Then what ARE you?! Do you read your Bible?
If it has scaly skin, eats bugs, and warms itself on a rock, then it's a duck? Or if it is covered in feathers, swims on the water, and has a broad bill then it's a lizard...?
You are either a Christian or you are not. Either you are following the Way or you are deluding yourself with false assurances. You either submit to Christ as both your Savior AND your Lord, or you are lost to Hell.
