Presidential praises should not be sung in a school setting unless
- that President is long dead
or
- has performed such an act of moral and physical valor
- under personal and real peril
- which actually saved at least one person's life
- from mortal danger
George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Dwight Eisenhower, and John F. Kennedy would qualify (at least on the first requirement). Carter, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II, and Obama do not qualify.
It's simply crass, people. Very low-brow... And a bit Hitler Youth, if you know what I mean.
