Israel is looking like the new leader of the Free World. The previous leader, the United States, resigned this role last week at the United Nations to take the position of global community organizer. This was made plain by President Obama in his speech, titled "Responsibility for Our Common Future," in which he heralded "a new chapter of international cooperation."
This just makes me sick. The more I read about his actions and policies, the more I listen to his narcissistic and self-indulgent rhetoric, the more disgusted I become.
I want to say so many things, but I think they're all summed up with "Obama is a disgrace." He's going to be worse than Jimmy Carter, God help us, and I just pray that it won't take the American people long to wake up to reality.
Then again, he's only reflecting the immature, selfish, lazy and undiscerning nature of those who voted for him. They were so dazzled by his "presence" and supposed historicity that they failed to see his weaknesses.
He and the rest of the DemonRATS and RINOs have saddled us with a faltering economy, a staggering debt, higher unemployment, and has now well under way to sacrificing our national security (and prestige as well, I don't deny that) so that the thugs, dictators and terrorist leaders of the word can give him praise before they stab us in the back.
Wait... No, they won't stab us in the back; they've already made their hostility to freedom, democracy and the United States quite clear. They'll stab us in the FRONT, and Obama and his enablers are too blind/stupid/naive/irresponsible/ignorant/arrogant (take your pick and feel free to add more) to acknowledge the very real threat.
God help us.
No, really, c'mon, tell us how you REALLY feel...

Well, I was using my "nice" words...Look, Pa, no swearing! LOL ;-)
And truly, I cannot completely express my disgust with the actions of our President. Our President who ought to be a man or woman of moral character and fortitude, courageous and honorable, who loves this country and knows her faults but sees the glorious city on a hill that she truly is.
America has been so richly blessed by the providential hand of God: we are more open hearted and generous than any country in history, we have the greatest freedom to live and do as we like, we have (had!) the strongest economy, we have (had) the best universities, we have the most natural resources, we have the most beautiful places in the whole world, we have the strongest and most capable military in the world (which is also the most disciplined, compassionate and honorable)...
...and Obama and his cohorts want to cage the eagle so that the snobbish, condescending elitists of the world can poke at it through the bars before stabbing it to death.
I'd love for them to all go to hell in a handbasket, except that it's our handbasket as well...

Amazing...as the government spends this country into oblivion, all you can do is carp about the current administration. Hopefully you and your kind will have enough faith for when things get really bad over the next 10 years or so. The government is broken, the inmates are running the asylum, regardless of political affiliation there is no way to fix it save a revolution.
...the most disciplined, compassionate and honorable...? Even those who tortured? Were you disgusted by the Bush lies about torture? You can somehow justify the torture of another human being, regardless of that person's religous or ethnic background?

Ah, EJ - I just love drive-bys like you. If you had bothered to go into my archives, you would have seen that I've deplored wasteful government spending for quite a while. And, while I believe Bush is a man of good character, I was vehemently opposed to his irresponsible fiscal policies. A good place to start looking is under my "DemonRATS and RINOs" category.
You should familiarize yourself with the "5 Minute Rule" of conversation; next time it might prevent you from embarrassing yourself.
