My Daddy passed away this morning at 9am and is with Jesus.
I want to thank all my friends and "family" on the Internet for all their prayers for Daddy, and all their encouragement and support for me and my family.
If you feel moved to do so, would you please leave a comment here so I can print it out for Mom? I know that she would feel so blessed and honored over the way Daddy has had an influence over people he'd never even met.
Thank you, my friends. Your love has really helped carry me through this sad time.
He will be much missed here, but I look forward to the day when I meet him in heaven.

May you be comforted with all mourners, and may your father's memory be for a blessing.

Obviously, I didn't know your father, but you certainly come across as a clear-headed person, loving, lovable, and firm in her faith, and the old saying is that the apple don't fall far from the tree, so he must've been a pretty good guy!

"Peace I leave with you...let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" John 14:27
What assurance in that voice that acknowledges our sorrow and yet offers us the choice to ask for God's protection and surrender all our fears to the One who holds tomorrow and will wipe away all of our tears.
The love that has been shared by this wonderful man will forever live in the hearts of the lives he has touched.
Hugs and blessings to your family during this sad time.

I didn't know Daddy, but I did know his influence on you. You spoke of him often, lovingly and with respect.
There's an saying: Any man can be a Father. But it takes a special man to be a Daddy.
This is true about your Daddy!
He's in heaven now, in peace. God is blessing you and your family, that I know.
Hugs to you Kat!

May the Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ fill those who mourn over the loss of a father, husband, and friend. May he find rest and joy in the presence of our Father and may your days be filled with memories or your time together.
God Bless you all.

He went knowing how deeply he was loved by his family. That alone should give you great comfort...we often never have the chance to say goodbye.
God keep you all.

I am sorry for your loss. What great comfort to know your dad is with the Lord but of course you all will miss him terribly. Praying you will have many islands of peace as you traverse the path through the valley of grief.

Harry was such a fine Christian gentleman. He was always warm and positive. He was kind to all he came in contact with and blessed the lives of many. Our sympathy and love, Ruth and family. JB and Shugie
