Two days ago (Monday, 24 May) was a rather quiet day for me. Daddy would have been 92 years old, and I'd just completed the first two weeks of my life without Daddy here on earth.
So it is a great joy for me to post these Happy Birthday wishes for my most darling child, who delights her parents every day, and is the Most Wonderful Child in the World™! (Well, IMHO, anyway...)
Happy birthday, young lady. You're not a child anymore, but you're not quite all grown up yet, either. You are my precious gift to the world, and I am so blessed and honored that God chose to let your Daddy and me take care of you here on earth. I pray that you will continue to grow up to be a woman of grace and joy and kindness, and that you love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.
I love you, sweetheart - no one could be a better daughter than you!

Dear "Munchkin,"
14 years ago you were selected to have Kat and David as parent's. While this was OK with you (babies just want that next bottle) it was a divine gift to your mom and dad. Over the years that I have been your mom's blog brother she consistently has praised all that you do and you have grown in her friends eyes, just as your body has grown as well.
The next few years will be exciting for you. Dating (watch your mom's hair grow gray and watch your dad give the third degree to your dates) graduation from High School and entry into college to become a world famous doc, lawyer, therapist, teacher or what ever you decide to do. Soon, all too soon, you will look back and wonder where all the years went as you are blessed with your own "munchkins." So enjoy life to the fullest, continue to see yourself as the angel you are and the blessing to your mom and dad that you have been. God bless young lady, the best is yet to come.
